Food tour modernisme, Barcelona!

19世紀末から20世紀初頭のアントニオ・ガウディが手がけた数々の歴史ある建築を見にバルセロナに行きました。 曲線で波を打っているデザインや色鮮やかなステンドグラスが全ての窓に使われていたり、大胆な形状と色の使いに魅了されます。

訪れるまで、ガウディの師である建築家リュイス・ドメネク・イ・ムンタネーについて全く知りませんでした。彼は、「芸術は人を癒す」と数々の素晴らしい建築物を世に送り出し、花模様を巧みに表現したことから「花の建築家」と呼ばれました。 街の中心街にあるLOEWEの建物は、彼のモデルニスモ建築が使われています。壁のタイルには花の模様が描かれているのも素敵です。この街で買い物や食事を楽しみながらも、歴史ある建物を知らない間に体験しているかもしれません。

注意すべきは、食事の時間です。お昼すぎから７時ぐらいまで、どこものレストランも開いていないの気をつけてください。街の探索に夢中になって食べ忘れてしまうと夜まで食べれなくなってしまうので、要注意です！

I visited Barcelona to see the late 19/early 20th century architecture of Antonio Gaudi. His curved, wavy designs, bold shapes, and colorful stained glass fascinate me. Before visiting, I knew nothing about Gaudi's mentor, architect Luis Domenek i Muntane. He designed many wonderful buildings around the world, saying “art heals people.” He was known as the “flower architect" for his skillful expression of flower patterns. The LOEWE building in the city center uses his Modernisme architecture. I truly love its floral tile patterns. While you are shopping and dining in this city, you are surrounded by amazing historical buildings.

When traveling in Spain, tne thing to note is meal time. No restaurants are open from afternoon until about 7 o'clock. If you are absorbed in exploring the city and forget to eat, you will not be able to eat until night, so be careful!
